In the beginning I (like most people do) started out and set up a business, then I made a website and a Facebook page, sent out some requests to like my page and waited for the sales to come flying in...  What happened?  You guessed it, NOTHING.

It used to be a case of if you build it they will come... but its not anymore.

Frustratingly I repeated this process over and over for years and years until it all came to a climax in 2022 when my businesses began failing.  One by one the cashflow dried up and I was forced to lay off 15 staff over a short period of time (some of them good friends and one of them even my daughter) I was forced to walk away from leases on buildings I couldn't pay.  I had to swallow my pride as I looked my wife and kids in the eye and told them everything we had worked for the last 15 years is about to slip away, through tears I remember the moment I had to ask my wife for the last of her savings so I could pay the staff wages for the week.

I was in the shit.

The last remaining business I had running could not possibly fund all of the debt left owing from the failed ventures. I needed to do something, and it needed to happen fast.

The challenge is that when you owe people  money your mind becomes zombie like.  Any time spent with my family was wasted as my brain was a million miles away trying to figure out what my next move was. With my wife is crying daily you start second guessing every decision you make and the whole situation spirals quickly.  As close as ever to divorce and really loosing everything that matters I needed to find what the successful people were doing.

Knowing no one would sign me up for another lease or sell me another business I had no option but to look online for my next opportunity. That's when, by chance or fate or whatever  I stumbled across a simple 4 minute video that changed everything.

It was a fairly entertaining video explaining what a sales funnel was and how its completely different to a regular website.

A massive lightbulb clicked on inside my head. It just made sense, I couldn't believe I hadn't taken the time to notice this before.

As soon as I watched it I felt something I hadn't felt in a long time... I was excited, it was like some kind of awakening or realisation.

Here was something that could help every business in the world regardless of their industry, but only a small portion of businesses are using it.  I was like a little kid in a candy store I wanted to know everything.  I started spotting sales funnels everywhere!!!
